Mountain Laurel Lodge has delightful amenities to pamper you:  large hot tub, awesome massage chair, multiple covered decks with plenty of seating, firepit, designer furnishings, sumptuous bed linens, top-of-the-line plush mattresses, high speed wireless Internet, TV’s in all bedrooms rooms including a 52" HDTV in the living room, PlayStation 2 with games, foosball table, air hockey table, gas grill, quality kitchen cookware, central heat and air, children’s playroom & playground, baby accessories, and a 12,000 watt whole house generator for back-up power. LOCATION:

The secluded Mountain Laurel Lodge, named for the surrounding 80 acre forest of lush mountain laurels, is located right in town with NO remote winding mountain roads to navigate! Most of the home and back parking area is on one level so it easily accommodates guests requiring one level living with no stairs to climb.  Mountain Laurel Lodge is conveniently located just 3 miles from Interstate 26 (Exit 44) with only 20 minutes north to Asheville and the Biltmore House and 10 minutes south to downtown historic Hendersonville Main Street shops and restaurants.

Beautiful wood floors and wood beam ceilings lend a warm lodge feel to the room. You can see the divided double stairway leading to the upstairs rooms and walkway around the open vaulted areas. The living room has plenty of comfortable sofas, awesome massage chair, beautiful artwork and 52" Plasma HDTV with DVD player and surround sound. It is open to the dining room and kitchen.

As you can see from the photos, this beautiful mountain lodge has an open flow from the living room to the dining room to the kitchen. Wonderful wood floors and wood beam ceilings lend a warm glow throughout. The dining room table has extra leaves to accommodate large groups.   The folding doors lead to the large pantry and laundry room with an oversized capacity  Maytag top-of-the-line "water saver" washer & dryer.

There is plenty of counter and cupboard space....and great quality cookware....to make the family chef feel right at home.  The refrigerator is spacious with French doors and a bottom drawer freezer.  We also have a second refrigerator for your use in the garage.  You have full a ceramic glass cooktop with self-cleaning oven, dishwasher, microwave, and disposal.  Enhance your meals by serving them on our festive dinnerware, heavy glasses and quality silverware. You’ll find sharp knives, a multitude of quality pots, pans, bake dishes, cookie sheets, cake pans, pizza pan, muffin pans, hand mixer, toaster, blender, waffle iron, coffeemaker and even a coffee grinder for your freshly brewed coffee. There are plenty of kitchen accessories & gadgets to please any chef.    You’ll also find a selection of basic spices.

Double doors off the entry hall lead into this massive-sized elegant king bedroom. We've divided the room with hand painted screens into a lovely sitting area with several love seats, a 37" flat screen HDTV with built-in DVD player and a realistic electric fireplace including heat, flame and even a "snap - crackle - pop" sound effects! The French doors lead to the large hot tub and outside back deck area. The room has a large private bathroom with a walk-in tiled shower, double sinks and large walk-in closet. The other half of the bedroom boasts a king bed with an ultra-top quality mattress, sumptuous bedding and a second TV/DVD/VHS for viewing from bed.

This peaceful, sophisticated bedroom offers total comfort with the ultra-luxurious king mattress, sumptuous linens and elegant furnishings including unique peacock lamps. As with every bedroom, there is a television to watch from bed. The love seat is a twin sleeper & the crib is ready for your baby and well as a second folding crib stored under the bed.  There is a lovely private bathroom with a tub/shower combination.

Note: for babies there are 2 cribs, 2 stroller, 2 high chairs, 2 Pack-N-Plays, baby bath tub, child gate and more.

You'll immediately notice the 13' cathedral ceilings with skylights and windows looking out at the forest view. The wardrobe closet is a stylish creation by Ralph Lauren and was the inspiration for the room's “shabby chic” decor. The room has an ultra-luxurious queen mattress with sumptuous bedding and TV/DVD. The French glass doors lead to the outside front covered deck with more of the comfortable white wicker seating.

Enhanced by a colorful full size wall mural, children will be enthralled with the enchanting bedroom/playroom filled with fuzzy stuffed animals, toys, games & books. There are 3 twin beds and queen futon with ultra plush comforters in the room. At the end of the room, a door leads to a covered screened sleeping porch. Elsewhere in the home there also is a Playstation 2 with a dozen games, a foosball table, an air hockey table and a huge playground with swings, forts and slides including a spiral enclosed slide and a toddler's playground!
