Hendersonville NC’s Urban Trail: OCHLAWAHA GREENWAY connects Jackson Park, Patton Park, Berkley Park, Sullivan Park, & William H. King Memorial Park.
Come walk, bring your dog or bike. It is a relatively flat paved trail and is handicap accessible. The Greenway is a 10-foot-wide asphalt path for cyclists and pedestrians. Benches, water fountains, and three bicycle Fix-It Stations are along the trail. The Audubon Society named the Greenway as a birding “hot spot.” Wildflowers, native trees & small mammals abound.
