Tour the Thomas Wolfe House Historic Site in Asheville, North Carolina

Thomas Wolfe House is the childhood home the 20th century author famous for his epic autobiographical novel “Look Homeward, Angel” set in his home town of “Altamont” Asheville NC.  Published in 1929 & still in print today, his mother’s 1883 boarding house in Asheville “Old Kentucky Home” (called “Dixieland” in his novel) is now the Thomas Wolfe Memorial State Historic Site. 
Tour this rambling Queen Anne home Tuesday through Saturday. 
Adults $5; Students (7 – 17) $2; 6 & under are free.
